Employees/Subcontractors are orientated, trained and responsible for working safely; to follow all rules and safe work procedures.

Everyone is expected to correct and report near misses, unsafe conditions and activities and to work cooperatively toward the prevention of accidents and the protection of the environment.

The management team at Continental Pipeline & Facility Ltd. is committed to providing safe and healthy working conditions and promoting positive attitudes towards safety and health within the organization. This will be achieved by maintaining safe work practices through proper procedures and training. Safety is everyone’s responsibility and must be shared equally by all levels of management and each and every employee.


Management has the responsibility to establish and maintain a comprehensive occupational health and safety program through policies, procedures, safe work practices and on going audits. Management will instruct and support supervisors, safety coordinators and workers in their health and safety activities.

Supervisors/Foreman are responsible for ensuring that employees are properly trained to do their work safely; for enforcing company policies and procedures as well as government regulations. To also ensure that regular safety inspections are conducted and that all unsafe work conditions or practices are corrected immediately.
